I’m Jennifer—an English tutor and accent modification coach with a Master’s degree in Linguistics (TESL) and more than 10 years of teaching experience. I am a UCLA alumna, and I have taught English in both the U.S. and Japan. I specialize in helping multilingual speakers improve pronunciation, fluency, and communication confidence for school, work, and everyday life.

In addition to my background in linguistics, I am completing a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, expanding my expertise in speech production, motor speech patterns, and voice. This advanced training strengthens my approach to accent coaching and supports clients who want clearer, more effective communication while maintaining their unique linguistic and cultural identity.

I also have published research in corpus linguistics, which shapes my practical and effective teaching approaches, ensuring that what you learn reflects authentic, real-world English.
